As a self proclaimed interiors junkie. I can tell you that I spend a lot of my time dreaming about ways to make my space at home feel more unique and homely. And whilst I would love an unlimited budget, the reality is that refreshing your home can be costly. Which is why when I am looking to refresh my space one of my go to’s is paint. Whilst I will be the first to admit that paint isn’t always the cheapest depending on the quality and colour. Adding a few splashes of paint on the wall is an easy way to brighten a room and change it for the better.

If you are like me and are working on a budget. Then I would suggest painting one wall in a room. This is known as an accent wall and can help focus your eyes attention to one particular place or area in the room. Painting a single wall in an open plan home can also help separate spaces. Another added bonus of using space to update your space is that it can help change the mood of the room. So whether you are looking to brighten a room or make it feel cosy. Try using some left over paint you have or buying a small can in your favorite colour.
