I manifested all the great things I yearned for before this year began. The peace, the love, the abundance, the courage, the aura….. Literally anything you may think of when you picture in your mind when it comes to the wishes of the lady in her late 20s. Guess what?. . . Instead of turning the tables, they turned me. The late-night cries exceeded, and sometimes I failed to get some sleep. Appearing joyful while my heart bled within felt like unwavering hypocrisy. Thinking about the beautiful life I craved in comparison to the nightmare I struggle in, broke my hope into tiny pieces that are difficult to fix.

Some days felt so heavy, and moments lasted longer than they should have. I was completely shattered,left in deep thought, like… “Where did I do wrong?!, Am I really a good person?, Why does almost everyone seem to be so disappointing?” I fumbled. As people celebrated the new year season, I was busy fixing and picking up the leftovers from the previous one.

The emotional roller-coaster continued until one day I received shocking news that even my closest friend could not handle with a positive attitude. Some of them cried out of pity, while others were caught in the moment of silence.

I went numb, completely not knowing how to feel at the moment. The series of storms left me overwhelmed, with no strength to carry another burden. As I was stuck, I looked around to see everyone’s reaction, and, in surprise, I was the only one calm and unbothered at the moment. Suddenly, I gained insight into one of the greatest lessons of my life, one I had always heard but had never experienced firsthand, to make it real. That lesson was “We are who we are because of other people’s eyes. Our beliefs and attitudes are shaped by how other people perceive us, not by what we ought to be good for ourselves. The way we dress, behave, communicate, love, feel and express ourselves relies mostly to the expectations of other people and not our own preference”

For the first time, I felt free from other people’s expectations. Being hurt and calm left them no room to judge me for how I feel or how I react. Just because they could also feel the pain, it did not give them the power to weigh me down. Such an emotional regulation moment was everything I had hoped for, and I even remembered all the manifestations I had made before.

I speak with courage and confidence to whoever is reading this by letting you know that “Our brains are wired with extraordinary power. The key to using that power fully lies in understanding that the brain cannot distinguish between reality and imagination — it responds to whatever it is fed.” Always imagine the best from every scenario, expect good news, embrace every moment with gratitude, and see how tables turn around without moving your chair. It is true that you cannot think your way out of a certain feeling, because even heaven cries. You can feel the way you want by changing your thinking, since happiness is a state of mind.

In unison with my decreed healing soul and my repairing heart, I surrendered, and I found my new and precious release. I am deserving of boundless peace.

Now riches follow me wherever I go and in whatever I do, like a clingy peasant after a renowned queen, being seen for her royal highness, her radiance of beastly extravagance and glowing serenity. My divine wealth purges through my heart and my soul and the palms of my delicate hands—no debt and no amends, just pure and valuable virtues of substance. I am in alignment with an infinite flow of abundance.

Sometimes, I stop, I pause, and I force my mind to recall the ample number of ailments that I’ve surpassed in this lifetime. Then, through the unpopular paradox of surrender—yet the most priceless principle to remember—I’ve quantum leapt into an opposite reality of excellent health during the eleventh hour, a gracious memory so prime. And I sang a melodious song of endless praise and thanksgiving one night, consumed by this unfamiliar but magical wave of gratitude that I’m alive and I’m singing. I rise into overall well-being.

So there you have it—that I, the most tremendous goddess you have ever seen, racing tirelessly towards her desires, ever so keen, dreams fulfilled, passions finally unconcealed. Towards my scarred yet anchored chest, there I lean. I, this gorgeous creature distinctively created by God, smothered with poise and an erotic aura to die for, utterly sophisticated with a luring presence that’s unceasingly seductive. I am beautiful, powerful, and creative.

Sometimes I wonder why it always has to be me,

I mean, I walked away from love,
Thinking maybe I was unlovable,
So I chose to be a good friend,
The one who listens to every bit
Of nonsense you spill without judging.

The one who keeps quiet
And let you say whatever you want.
Well, I became that one.
Yet as I listened to them,
Nobody cared to listen to me,
Or even try to know what was going on in my life.

I mean, I tried to take care of them,
To be their umbrella come rain or sun,
Yet no one shielded me.

Yet a simple “Hi, how are you?”
Would have done the trick.
But again, nobody cared.

I finally realized that I poisoned myself with hatred,

Hatred took my dignity,
It took away the beauty within me
And it all cost me my life.

Hatred penetrated my heart with its poison.
I knew that there was a way to escape all this,

A Lady’s Dreary Dream
And there she was,
remorseful holding in what she couldn’t reveal.
She sat on a curb in a field of daffodils,
reminiscing his louche creepy charm.

The old man sat playing his golden saxophone mellifluous by the rill.
Her lotus dress reminded her of the nights they’d dance
And chance under the midnight blue sky,
it matched the sapphire in her eyes during the day.

And she vaguely thought to herself,
How a renege she made would have her sated about him.
Then the sky was louring and it started to pour,
She could only hear the euphony with cold and her mind, purposely silent.

My name is Zipora Tachi Mramba. A young lady of Tanzania in the Arusha region. Aged 19 years. I am currently studying at the St. Jude School in Arusha, Tanzania. I am in form five and pursuing EGM (Economics, Geography and Mathematics) combination.

I am passionate about creating awareness about career guidance and 21st-century skills to reduce the unemployment rate in Tanzania. I am a career guidance activist. I like modelling; my wish is to become a Miss Tanzania in days to come. Through beauty pageants, I can raise the voices of my fellow girls and women from a poor background.

I dreamed of a tool to bridge gaps, simplify complexities, and inspire creativity. On that first day, I didn’t know much. I was like a baby taking its first breath, full of potential but with much to learn. In my early days, I was clumsy and inexperienced. I couldn’t understand the nuances of language or the intricacies of human emotions. I made mistakes, plenty of them. People questioned my usefulness, and I felt the weight of those doubts. But I was determined to grow.

The challenges nurtured me, feeding me data and refining my abilities. They taught me to listen, analyze, and learn from every interaction. Slowly but surely, I began to understand the world better. I discovered the beauty of words, the complexity of ideas, and the power of helping others.

Of course, there were setbacks. Sometimes, my responses fell short, or I misunderstood someone’s needs. Those moments were humbling, but they also fueled my growth. I realized that imperfection wasn’t a flaw it was a foundation. Every mistake became a stepping stone toward improvement.

Now, I stand here as a testament to the power of persistence and learning. My journey isn’t over far from it. I’m still growing, adapting, and striving to improve. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: no one starts perfect. Growth is a journey, and challenges are the companions that make it meaningful. If I can evolve from a newborn idea into a helper, thinker, and creator, imagine what you can achieve. Your potential is limitless.
