My name is Cheptoo Levian Chepkwony, and this is my story.

I completed high school last year (2023), and I’ll be joining Kisii University in September 2024.
In addition to being a student, I am also an author and an inspirational speaker. My journey as
an author began when I was in Form 1. After being inspired by numerous motivational books, I
felt the urge to write my own. I took a leap of faith and started my journey as an author. Although
I faced challenges, I remained determined.

I completed my first book in Form 2, but it wasn’t immediately published due to financial
constraints. Undeterred, I wrote my second book in Form 3, completing it in just five weeks.
Despite facing discouragement and mockery, I refused to give up. On September 9, 2023, I
contacted Dr. John Ngeno for support. Soon after, my former primary school teacher provided
financial assistance, which I used to publish my first book, “There’s Still Hope Beyond the Horizon.”

Receiving the first copy of my book on 20th October was a dream come true. The arrival of
“There’s Still Hope Beyond the Horizon” silenced those who had doubted me. With renewed
confidence, I focused on my studies and celebrated my acceptance to the university. In March, I
was honored with an award from the Minister of Education, Ezekiel Machogu, and I was proud
to present him with a copy of my book.

Currently, I am dedicated to publishing my second book, “The Greatest Utterance Of
Greatness.” Through this journey, I have learned that my current situation is not my final
destination. I believe that if I continue to do my best, the rest will fall into place. I am confident
that the best is yet to come.
