Ah its officially a new month (again) and I don’t know about you but having the opportunity to hit the reset button every month is a welcome relief. But can also be daunting. Personally I prefer to look on the upside. In part because the year is moving along even if our minds and bodies don’t want to, and despite what we tell ourselves the world has not quite come to an end due to the novel coronavirus and other issues affecting us all right now. And whilst I know many of us would rather hide under a rock and disappear for the foreseeable future. We cannot and should not let life pass us by. If anything we should take a deep dive into ourselves, into life and into all that we want and fiercely protect and hold onto what matters most.

For me that is my health, my family, my daughter (who turns one this month) , my work and my mental health. Whilst I am constantly working on myself. This month I am committed to doing more of the work that is needed to be better and do better in the above mentioned areas. One of the ways I will be doing so in my work life and as Editor of She Evolves, is taking part in Goop’s “In Goop Health” month long workshop. Through the workshops which focus on healing, health, diet, food, skincare and much more, I hope to be better equipped to serve the She Evolves community. As well as learn some tips that I can use in my every day life. And as Goops founder Gwyneth Paltrow said in one of her cookbooks, “its all easy”.

Which does not mean that things will actually be easy in the coming months and year. But rather that my outlook on them will be a bit easier. A bit more open. So here’s hoping you take these strange times to be more gentle with yourself. To hone in on your passions and fiercely work on the areas of your life that matter most. To tell those you love how much they mean to you. And to keep keeping on.
