I’m not sure about you ladies, but my hands have taken quite a beating over the last few months. With all the washing, sanitizing and scrubbing going on. It’s hard to achieve the soft supple hands that I am accustomed to. Which is why I have developed, probably for the first time in my life, a hand care routine. One that helps prevent my hands from unwanted cracks and dryness. And whilst this won’t work for everyone. I would suggest finding something you can do to prevent dry hands. And slow down aging, because hands are one of the first places to show signs of aging.

  1. Keep hand cream everywhere: Before COVID, I would only have one hand cream in my bag that I would use occasionally. But now I have it everywhere and have even updated my regular hand cream for a slightly luxurious one. What ever you use, make sure it has hydrating and protecting qualities. And make sure you use it even after sanitizing your hands to provide you extra nourishment.
  2. Push skin off of nail beds once a week: Since I haven’t been able to get a manicure. I have been relying on myself for good hand care. One thing I like to do is push back my nail beds once a week while I am watching TV.
  3. Brush under nails: With hand care and hygiene being more important than ever. One thing I love to do is brush under my nails. Do this with a brush to get rid of any grime and dirt that may be caught there.
